Blazing Saddles provides professional and experienced bike tours at many destination locations all over the San Francisco Bay Area. Crossing the Golden Gate Bridge is one of them, but that is only a beginning. MARIN HEADLANDS OFF-ROAD  The dramatic, rugged beauty of the Marin Headlands has made this a biker's paradise! This area, just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco , is located in the Golden Gate National Recreational Area which is part of the National Park System making this a great place for an extraordinary mountain bike ride. Windswept ridges, lush valleys, startling cliffs, ocean beaches, are all part of the offerings of the Marin Headlands.
MT. TAMALPAIS STATE PARK OFF-ROAD  Mt. Tamalpais is recognized as the birthplace of mountain biking. We have designed the ultimate Mountain Biking experience that takes your group to the 2,571-foot summit of Mt. Tamalpais for an incredible 360-degree view of the entire Bay Area. The climb to the top starts by pedaling up the scenic roadbed that was once the home of the "Crookedest Railway in the World! " The climb to the summit of Mt. Tamalpais, it's a power ride. Once we've reached the top, it's time to rest and soak up the amazing views of the Bay Area! Finally, it's a downhill roller coaster ride all the way back to the base in Mill Valley! Our Coast side Trail Tour is designed primarily as a casual sightseeing trip . We will lead the group into Historic Downtown Half Moon Bay along the Coast side Trail to Pillar Point Harbor, through Princeton by the Sea and out to Pillar Point. The town of Half Moon Bay retains its history in some of the old and colorful buildings that we will visit during our ride . Prohibition brought roadhouses, rumrunners, bootleggers and madams coast-side, providing the area with some interesting tales!
