Bike & Wine
Combine three of the most desired experiences in the San Francisco Bay Area for a truly unique day!
Your day begins with a glorious bike ride across the Golden Gate Bridge. Our most popular route begins at Fisherman’s Wharf by the Powell/Hyde cable car turnaround. Cruise along the car-free National Park Bike Path on a mostly flat bike ride through Aquatic Park, Fort Mason, the Marina, and Presidio National Park to the base of the bridge, where historic Fort Point is located. You’ll cross the bridge on the sidewalk with stunning views of the city and bay, then just a 10-minute downhill ride will take you into the charming bayside town of Sausalito.
Once you reach Sausalito, you will drop off your bikes and have a chance to explore the charming bayside town. Grab a bite to eat, browse the art galleries or souvenir shops, and enjoy Sausalito’s notoriously great weather.
After your lunch break, you will get picked up in central Sausalito and head straight into the world-famous Napa Valley with its vine-covered hillsides. You will visit two of our favorite wineries for wine tasting and an exclusive estate tour.
Experience the inner working of the wineries and their unique family history. An expert wine host will walk you through the fermentation process, barrel aging, and of course tasting of some of their award-winning varietals.
Once you have had your fill of wine tastings (and perhaps bought a bottle or two for the road), hop back on the air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy the trip back across the Golden Gate Bridge to San Francisco. You will return to Fisherman’s Wharf or Union Square between 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm.
