Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival

From September 10 - 11, Beach Street in front of Ghriardelli Square will play host to families, couples, friends, and chocolate lovers alike. The festival will feature two days of ice cream eating contests, chocolate and wine pairings, and of course, TONS of free samples. Professional chocolate experts will teach guests about the history of the cocoa bean while artisan chefs demonstrate their meticulous techniques that have made Ghirardelli a household name! The best part about this event is that 100% of the proceeds will be donated Project Open Hand!

Once you are done indulging yourselves at the sweetest event this side of the Wharf, come visit us at Blazing Saddles around the corner to burn off a few of those extra calories on a brisk and exhilarating bike ride (and to share some of those free chocolate samples, too!).

Take yourself and your family along the car free National Park Bike Path on a mostly flat ride to the world famous Golden Gate Bridge! After checking out the views, you can head into Sausalito to wine, dine, have a great time before ending the day on a breathtaking ferry ride across the Bay.

No need to make a reservation with us at Blazing Saddles. Just hop on in whenever you are ready and we will be happy to set you up with the perfect equipment for your ride! We’re at 2715 Hyde Street, just around the corner from Ghirardelli Square. See you soon!

Calling all chocoholics! It's time to loosen your belts and get ready for desert before dinner because the Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival is back in the Wharf this weekend and we couldn't be more excited! Every flavor from Sea Salt Caramel to Peppermint Bark is scheduled to make an appearance at this year's festivities, so get your tastebuds ready!
